As sponsors of the Makedonia Taekwondo school, we would like to congratulate them on the Cyprus National Taekwondo competitions for men from 16 to 21 years old which took place on September 10, 2022, at the indoor gym of Agios Dometios in Nicosia. Makedonia Taekwondo was First winning school with the most medals won in this competition with 4 gold medals and 3 silver. In 2 weeks we will go to the European Under 21 Championships – Albanian Open. Congratulations to our athletes and coaches.

According to official figures from the Department of Lands & Surveys, 972 real estate sale contracts were deposited at Land Registry offices in August compared with 724 during August last year; an increase of 34%.

The first eight months of 2022 have been the best eight-month period for the property market since 2008 (when 11,088 sales contracts were deposited in the first eight months.)

With the exception of Famagusta, where property sales fell by 17% in August, sales rose in the remaining four districts.

Limassol saw the greatest number of sales followed by Paphos, Nicosia, Larnaca and Famagusta.

A spurt of interest is expected after the end of objections

For a fifth consecutive month, the number of property sales in Cyprus hit a 14 year high in May as measured by the number of contracts deposited at Land Registry offices.
