Palm Beach Hotel is being renovated in Larnaca
The Palm Beach Hotel in Larnaca, a well-known establishment in the tourist area of Oroklini, has been purchased by an Israeli company with interests in other hotels in the region.
The hotel has been closed to the public since 2020 and operated as a quarantine hotel during the pandemic. Renovation work has now commenced, and it is expected to last until the end of 2024.
The goal is to have the hotel fully renovated and ready for the tourist season in 2025. The renovated hotel will maintain its luxury status and offer five-star services.
The plans include renovating the main building, constructing additional buildings, and creating independent bungalows with private pools to accommodate families and organized groups.
The investors also plan to build a new luxury hotel near Palm Beach, in the area where the Golden Fish restaurant used to be located.
Construction of this new hotel, which will be part of a large foreign chain, is expected to start in autumn on a 15,000 square meter area.
In addition to the Palm Beach Hotel, other hotels such as Mercure Hotel and Radisson Beach Resort have recently opened in the same area.
There is a demand for more hotels in the region, and luxury villas are also being constructed.
